From November, for patients with
healthy jaw bones that require no sinus lifts or bone replacement,
implants using Straumann SLActive allow patients to have permanent
porcelain crowns 4 weeks after the implant operation rather than
the customary 4 months required by other implants. The innovative
manufacturing process produces an active molecular surface which
is conditioned in nitrogen and immediately preserved in isotonic
